Two handmade knives to start. A 9 cm Bunka paring knife and a 17 cm Bunka santoku in Japanese 440C high-carbon stainless steel, both sharpened to a precise 15° double bevel grind. The thin 1.8 mm blades (1.5 mm for the parer) cut cleanly without bruising delicate food. The Tsuchime hammered pattern creates air pockets that reduce drag and prevent sticking.
Ebony handles sit balanced in hand, and each knife comes with a bamboo sheath. A small set that covers everyday slicing and detail work, handmade to last.
